Sleuths By Chance

This very first book in a series of goodness knows how many, takes place in one of our favorite places: Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria, Germany. We absolutely adore this medieval town and although we had not decided to involve it in the book, suddenly the story took place there.

The two friends, Patricia Svensson, who is about to leave her life in Sweden and move to Rothenburg, and Amy McKenzie from Australia, who is on her way there to celebrate and holiday together with her dear friend. They are anything but sleuths, when they embrace each other after not seeing and meeting in a long time.

Not too far into the story they meet two men, unknown to each other but soon get on well, and it looks as though it will develop to a long and good friendship between them all. One of the men though, doesn't seem to give an impression of who he actually is, and without really planning to, the ladies are "sleuths by chance".

As we have said, we adore this old town inside the medieval wall and we have of course included things you may recognise when reading. And for you who have not been there, you will be tempted to go and it will be on your list, we are sure.
